Virtual office Prague

A virtual office in Prague is a great fit for both companies and entrepreneurs. Companies can register it as their registered office (a legal obligation), while the self-employed (OSVČ) state it to the authorities as their place of business if for any reason they cannot or do not wish to state their home address. And with us you can have it arranged in no time within 24 hours, entirely online.

A virtual office helps you save both money (you don't pay for an office you don't need) and time (you can work from anywhere). And if you choose a good address, such as one of ours, it can help you make a better impression on your customers and inspire greater trust in them.

Once entered in the register, the virtual office address serves as both a billing and correspondence address. If you wish, you can also rely on us to handle your post at selected addresses (receiving it and scanning it into an online interface where you can read it).

Already in business and need a new registered office? No problem, we'll help you with the change too.

WHY HAVE A VIRTUAL OFFICE IN PRAGUE

Our clients' frequently asked questions

A virtual office is an address you can state as your official place of business entered in the Commercial or Trade Licensing Register. Every company must have its registered office at some physical address, which requires the written consent of the property owner. If you don't own or rent a property, or if for various reasons you don't want to state such a property, you can use our virtual office.

Our offer features exclusively prestigious addresses, you can rely on the anonymity, stability and reliability of the office, and on professional additional services such as post handling.

Yes, virtual offices are entirely legal. They are typically the domain of small entrepreneurs and smaller companies looking to save on the costs of running their business.

A virtual office is intended solely for entrepreneurs and companies. In practice, the virtual office provider leases an address to their customer, who can then have it entered in the Commercial Register as their company's registered office, or – in the case of the self-employed – in the Trade Licensing Register as their place of business.

You may have heard that a virtual office for business means more frequent or, conversely, rarer inspections by the authorities. But statistics actually show that the most common reason for increased inspections is non-communication on the company's part, or a company with no history and no income registering for VAT.

Paying for the office is simple. After it's arranged, before the end of the paid period we'll let you know, along with an invoice for the next year, so nothing slips through the cracks. With the STANDARD and PREMIUM packages we'll issue a new consent to place your registered office with us free of charge after payment. With the START package, issuing a new consent to place the office costs 150 CZK.

The minimum order for all virtual offices in our offer is 12 months.

Prague and its highlights

Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic and, at the same time, its largest city. It is also the 15th largest city in the whole EU. Prague lies slightly to the north of the centre of Bohemia, on the Vltava river. It is moreover located within the Central Bohemian Region, of which it is the administrative centre.

Prague is home to the president, parliament, government, central state authorities and so on. It is also the seat of many other important offices, and in addition it hosts the headquarters of most political parties, movements and initiatives, as well as a large number of company registered offices, including multinationals.

Prague covers an area of 496 km² and is home to around 1.3 million inhabitants; the Prague metropolitan area has roughly 2.1 million. It is an economically advanced and wealthy region whose standard of living stands out above both Czech and European standards.

Also very noticeable is Prague's economy being focused on services and other tertiary-sector activities, which employ around 80% of Praguers (just 58% in the Czech Republic as a whole). Thanks to its rich history, Prague is a major world cultural centre and, after London, Paris, Rome and Istanbul, the fifth most visited city in Europe.

The city of Prague itself is one of the largest centres of business in the Czech Republic. In 2022, over 100,000 new companies were formed in the country (the second highest number since the independent Czech Republic came into being). Most companies were formed right in Prague. It's clear, then, that business does very well in Prague and that it offers plenty of opportunities.

According to the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade, as of 17 October 2023 there were 165,000 registered self-employed persons (OSVČ) and 85,000 legal entities (companies) in Prague.

WHERE TO GO IN PRAGUE

The city of Prague

Even if Prague isn't your dream or ideal place to do business, you may still want to take a trip there at some point. Or perhaps a business trip or team-building event might bring you there. So where to go in Prague, what to experience, where to grab a drink and a bite to eat?

We recommend 10 tips for a walk in Prague, Trip tips in Prague and the surrounding area (100+ attractions) or 36 trip tips in Prague from the Slevomat portal. For a working coffee or tea, the article Cafés with the most beautiful interiors in Prague will point you in the right direction.

And for a business lunch or dinner you can read, for example, this article by Refresher.

If you get tired of exploring Prague on foot, the city has very high-quality public transport (trams, buses, metro, trains and so on). Besides the many taxi services, you can of course also use apps such as Uber, Bolt or Liftago to get wherever you need, whenever you need – even without your own car.

WHERE TO STAY IN PRAGUE

It depends on whether you want to be in the centre of Prague and pay a bit more, or whether standard accommodation somewhere within reach of the metro or public transport at a slightly better price will do. Prague has literally several thousand accommodation options, so even if you don't book in advance, you'll most likely still find somewhere to stay for the night straight away.

Prague offers a truly vast number of hotels, guesthouses and apartments of various categories. Hotels also often offer their own stylish restaurants, pools and wellness areas, bars, cafés, meeting rooms or large rooms for conferences and presentations. You can simply browse the offer using a filter on the Booking portal, for example.

And if you're not looking for a hotel in particular, you can of course also use a handy app such as Airbnb, so you can enjoy your own room or a whole flat in ordinary residential buildings with a more homely atmosphere rather than the classic "hotel" feel.

If you'd prefer something stylish at a better price, you can try taking a look at Slevomat for current stays and accommodation at a slightly better price. Why not make your visit to the capital that bit more pleasant? Prague really does offer plenty!

The benefits of our virtual offices

Prestigious address
and anonymity

A great registered office address simply looks more trustworthy (than, say, one at your flat). When customers look you up or communicate with you, you'll make a better impression. What's more, in larger cities thousands of different companies share an address, so inspections are less frequent there.

Office stability
and reliability

We provide offices in our own properties and through partners with many years of experience in the field. That's why we can guarantee stability and reliable service with no risk of termination of the contract (there's no danger you'd have to relocate your office)

Professional
post handling

We'll arrange a label on the letterbox so post can be delivered to it. At most addresses we take delivery of items and automatically notify clients by e-mail when they arrive. We can also scan your post into storage or forward it to you.

Services that pair well with your registered office

Providing a virtual office doesn't have to be where our cooperation ends. On the contrary, it can be the start of a long-term partnership. As you grow, we can handle the necessary changes in your company together. We also specialise in services that companies and the self-employed are better off outsourcing than paying full-time employees for — such as an accountant, a lawyer or an assistant. And that's not all.
