Obtaining a trade licence for the self-employed (OSVČ)
In the Czech Republic, starting a business requires a number of formalities, acts and communication with the relevant state authorities. In particular, this means obtaining a trade licence (živnostenské oprávnění), registering for social and health insurance and registering for income tax. For many new entrepreneurs this can be a time-consuming process. This is especially true if they want to do business in a specific field.

Yes, but please note that with an existing criminal record the issuing of a trade licence depends entirely on the Trade Licensing Office's assessment of your eligibility to do business. If the licence is refused or its issue delayed in this connection, you are not entitled to a refund for this service.
