What are the conditions for permanent residence?
To use the permanent residence service, you need to meet several basic conditions. Above all, the service provider must be the owner of the property or have the right to offer it for this purpose — this guarantees that the owner's consent is valid. It is also necessary to sign an agreement between the client and the service provider, which creates the contractual relationship and defines the rights and obligations of both parties. The service is charged, usually as a subscription paid annually or for a longer period.
It is important to realise that the permanent residence address serves only for registration in your documents, not for actual living. You cannot stay at the address or receive post there — that must be handled another way, for example through mail redirection from the Czech Post or a data box (datová schránka). If you meet these conditions and understand the service, there is nothing to stop you using it as a practical and entirely legal solution.
