Who is the permanent residence service for?
The permanent residence service is ideal for anyone who needs a reliable and stable address on their ID card but, for various reasons, cannot or does not want to keep it at their actual address. It is most often used by the following:
People in rented accommodation, where the landlord does not want to give consent to permanent residence. People seeking better services and perhaps also cheaper parking in a given location. People who move house often or travel long-term (digital nomads). And those who require anonymity, since they do not have to state their actual home address.
Thanks to the permanent residence service, all these people have the certainty that their official address will be stable and reliable regardless of how often they move or where they happen to be staying. It is a practical solution for anyone looking for flexibility, independence, or who simply does not want to burden family or friends with a request to keep their permanent residence at their address.
